Where Is Everwood Located?
Everwood is situated on approximately 102 acres west of U.S. 231 South and south of County Road 500 South in Lafayette, Indiana. The location puts residents within easy reach of major commuting corridors, shopping along U.S. 231, and the greater Lafayette–West Lafayette metro area.
How Many Homes Will Be Built?
The Everwood Subdivision will feature 249 single-family lots. Arbor Homes received major preliminary plat approval from the Tippecanoe Area Plan Commission with a 12-0 vote in August 2025, signaling strong institutional support for the project.
Lot Sizes at Everwood
Not all lots in Everwood are the same. The community is divided into two lot size tiers:
- Lots 1–55 — Minimum 10,000 sq ft (larger, front-section lots)
- Lots 56–249 — Minimum 7,500 sq ft (interior lots, the majority of the community)
About the Developer — Arbor Homes
Arbor Homes is an Indiana-based new construction homebuilder with communities across the Indianapolis metro area, Ohio, and Kentucky. Their home series range from entry-level Arrival Series homes starting in the low $200s to larger Arbor Series floor plans stretching over 3,200 sq ft. Specific floor plans and pricing for Everwood have not yet been publicly listed, but buyers can expect a mix of ranch and two-story designs typical of Arbor Homes communities.
Community Standards & Buffers
As part of the rezoning commitment approved in April 2025, Arbor Homes agreed to install a 55-foot open space bufferyard along CR 500 South, providing a green transition between the new neighborhood and the roadway. Arbor Homes is also responsible for running water and sewer lines from Lafayette to serve the development.
